Instagram is adding caption option for stories

Instagram has released a new subtitle poster that allows users to watch without sound to make Stories and Reels videos easier to access.

The extension makes it easier for hard of hearing or deaf users to interact with video content and allows users to view videos that they do not want the audio to play in.

To use this feature, the creator uses stories or roles in the Instagram app to record a new video or select a video to download from their phone.

Then he opens the poster room and looks for a new translation poster that turns speech into text.

You can also change the style, position of captions, text, and color to suit the content. Upon publishing, captions will display next to the video for all to see.

This feature is only available when launched in English speaking and English speaking countries. However, Instagram plans to post it to other countries / regions and languages soon.

The title tag was also introduced throughout the story and then tested in reels and distributed more widely.

The title tag was discovered during the development process last year, and there are other possible additions like collaboration tags, link tags, re-share tags, etc.

Facebook, which contains the Instagram platform, appears to be under development.

The photo and video sharing platform started testing stickers with multiple users earlier this spring.

Added just a few weeks after TikTok announced the closed caption feature (called auto caption).

Auto Subtitles automatically subtitles English and Japanese voices in Tik Tok videos, but the text itself cannot be customized. It can be activated or deactivated via the scene in the application's sharing area.

Automatic translations have not been used widely yet, and many Tik Tok developers continue to use subtitles that they create themselves or through third-party apps.

Instagram said it had previously launched translation support for Thread and IGTV, but expanding the feature to include stories and roles will have a bigger impact as use of story on a daily basis exceeds this. Only 500 million.
