Facebook is testing new animations when sharing posts

Facebook is testing a new way to mark shared feed posts using animations that appear in posts as the user scrolls.

As this video by social media expert Matt Navarra shows, with this new process, when you want to share a Facebook post to your feed, you can choose to add a colorful animation or background to your updated post.

There are many different animations and backgrounds to choose from.

Once you add the animation you want, other users will see it as they scroll through your updates in their feed.

The feature appears to be under limited testing, you can see it in the video, and when it's available, you'll see a new "Share your reaction to the post" notification below the main image.

This is similar to the story-based reply option for regular feed posts and adds another element to the process to increase engagement and visibility of the post.

However, once everyone starts using it, all the emojis and smiley face animations that appear as you scroll can be a bit confusing.

Facebook is testing new animations:

Therefore, Facebook has data on engagement rates by mail. And you know that shared posts add little to the overall dynamic activity of most people.

Therefore, the risks in this direction can be small. However, once every other user gets in, there's always the risk that any generic add-on will quickly become obsolete.

For brands, this option can also provide a way to promote your promotions through UGC.

By working with the right people, you can allow them to share your latest updates with their followers. Attaching these new animations can help draw more attention to your recording.
